The tollbooth is open 24 hours a day for manual payment. In addition to cash, credit cards (including petrol company cards) may be used.
2. AutoPASS subscription
In order to achieve a discount when passing the toll station, an AutoPASS subscription is necessary. The subscription charge is based on 40 prepaid trips providing a discount of 40%. The initial fee includes a deposit of NOK 200 for the unit.
AutoPASS Co-ordinated Service
AutoPASS is the Norwegian technology for Electronic Fee Collection (EFC). In total there are 45 toll road projects in Norway, 22 of these have AutoPASS electronic fee collection.
On the 1st of February 2004, the AutoPASS Co-ordinated Service is introduced, based on the EFC. The main objective is to simplify the payment for transport services. The user will only need one contract in order to pass through all AutoPASS lanes. However, this gives only discount at the original toll road project, where you have signed your subscription contract.
In order to obtain reduced fees at other toll road projects, you need separate subscriptions with the actual toll road operating companies.
NB: All customers at the Triangle Link from before the 1st of February with valid subscriptions, are automatically transferred to the National Subscription for the AutoPASS Co-ordinated Service from 01.02.2004.
For more information: see www.autopass.no
Customers with an AutoPASS tag from Triangle Link (L13-tag) must prepay 40 passings and will get a 40% discount at the Triangle Link. Passings in other Road toll projects (full price) will be deducted from the prepaid amount.
An invoice will be sent when the remaining amount is appr. 25 % of the prepaid amount.
The invoice will specify passings at the Triangle Link and other toll projects.
Customers with AutoPASS tag from the Triangle Link who wish to obtain discount at other toll projects, need to have a local AutoPASS contract with the toll company in question, connected to the same AutoPASS tag.
